Sametalu


kaaSiiki poyinaa karma tappadu.
Meaning : Even in Kasi you have to face the consequences of your actions.
(Kasi/Varanasi is considered the most religious and holiest of places, where with one dip in the sacred Ganga river could rid you of all your sins)


kaaryam ayyaedaaka gaaDida kaaLLainaa paTTaali.

Meaning : Until the work is done we have to hold even the donkey's legs.
(IF the work is ours and if its important then there is no same in doing whatever it takes to complete it)

kaalu jaarinaa teesukoagalam, noaru jaaritae teesukoalaem.

Meaning : If we slip and fall, we can get back on our feet but if our tongue slips and we say something to hurt others we cannot take that back.


kaaliki vaestae meDaku, meDaku vaestae kaaliki.
Meaning :



kaachae cheTTukae raaLLa debbalu.
Meaning : The tree that blooms, is the one that has to suffer the bruises of the stones.

kaagala kaaryam gamdharvulae teerchaaru.
Meaning :

kaaki guuTiloa koakila pillavale.
Meaning : The egg of a 'koel' in a crows nest.
(It is said that the crow lays its eggs in a koel's nest so that the koel will take care of its baby.)

kaaki mukkiku domDa pamDu.
Meaning : A beautiful fruit in the beak of a crow

kaaki biDDa kaakiki muddu gadaa!
Meaning : Baby crow is cute to the crow.
